Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

All guests spending the night at the site must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the site as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to re-let your unit.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Covid-19

Effective from 24/05/20. We are unable to guarantee that any dates reserved prior to reopening will be converted to bookings.

Once the Welsh Government authorises us to reopen we will contact you to convert your reservation into a booking.

A deposit of 50% will be required to be paid within 7 days of contact in order to secure your booking with the balance to be paid 14 days before arrival. If payment is not made the date(s) will be released.

If your arrival date is within 14 days of reopening we will require full payment.

Once your deposit is paid our usual cancellation policy applies.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog. We recommend that your dog is also insured for straying.

Dogs are not allowed in the Coppice Pitch bell tent.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times. We reserve the right to terminate your booking without refund in the event that your dog creates a nuisance to other customers, is off lead or unsupervised or is worrying our or neighbouring livestock.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Please ensure your dog has suitable and secure accommodation within your unit or vehicle. Do not leave your dogs shut in hot cars.

You are required to clean up after your dog and dispose of the waste responsibly. Eco-bags and disposal points are available on site.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

caravans and motorhomes are not permitted.

Payment

Payment may be made in full or part upon booking. Your Greener Camping Club (GCC) membership payment will be taken together with your deposit. If you are already a member please provide us with your details and we will check these against the GCC database.

A deposit of 50% of your booking will be taken if your arrival date is more than 4 weeks from date of booking. The balance of the deposit is payable no later than two weeks before your arrival date. An email reminder will be sent to you with an invoice.

Payment can be made by BACS transfer, or online by debit or credit card using Stripe, the secure online payment platform.

Cancellation

The management reserve the right to cancel, amend or rearrange your booking in the event of poor weather conditions where it would be unsafe to allow tent camping to proceed. In the event of cancellation a full refund will be offered (excluding Greener Camping Club membership which is non-refundable). We will try to offer alternative dates where available.

If you cancel your booking the refund policy is as follows:

  • Up to 4 weeks before your arrival date – full refund excluding GCC membership
  • Up to 2 weeks before your arrival date – 50% refund excluding GCC membership unless we can re-let your unit
  • Between 2 weeks and arrival date – no refund available

Cancellation can be made by email or telephone.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: £100.00 damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Please follow the guidance on signs. Do not enter any restricted area.

Do not climb fences, please use access gates only.

Campfires must only be lit in the purpose made fire pits.

Vehicles

No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area. Depending on ground conditions and accessibility needs we may permit vehicle access for pitching up/packing down. When vehicle access is unavailable we can provide assistance in transporting your tent and equipment to your pitch.

Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
