We appreciate that many customers will be concerned regarding safety on site. We have put the following steps in place to help protect both you and us during your stay and we have also completed the ‘We’re Good To Go’ accreditation.
Our booking system will send you an electronic registration form which you can complete online.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
On arrival you will be directed where to park and we will greet you with social distancing measures in place. If we are able to provide vehicle access to your pitch we will direct you to the pitch and provide instructions for unloading and parking up. If we need to transport your belongings to your pitch for you we will ensure that the trailer is cleaned between guests.
The shower unit is open and available for all guests. The unit will be cleaned regularly throughout the day and we ask that when you have finished using the shower that you spray down the surfaces with the disinfectant provided, mop the floor and leave all doors open.
FRIDGE AND FREEZER
There is a communal fridge/freezer available for guests. Each pitch has a shelf in each section assigned to it. Guests are welcome to use this. The unit will be cleaned regularly and a disinfectant spray and wipes will be provided for you to wipe down before and after use.
WASHING UP SINK
Please make sure you bring equipment to wash up on pitch as the sink will not be available for the 2020 season. We anticipate that this will be available for 2021.
Each pitch has it’s own private composting toilet with handwash facilities. These will be fully cleaned and emptied between guests. On departure please ensure that the toilet door is left open.
There is a separate self enclosed flushing toilet next to the shower which will be cleaned regularly. Please leave the door open when not in use.
HAND CLEANING STATIONS
We will ensure that hand cleaner/sanitiser is provided at the main entrance, next to gates and next to the water points.
Each guest will be asked to comply with the social distancing measures required as at the time of their stay. At the time of writing the requirement is to keep two metres apart. Guests will be asked to respect and comply with this as far as possible by beeing courteous towards other guests and giving way and waiting at narrow points in paths.
Each pitch will be for the sole use of the occupants during their stay as a self contained unit. Social distancing rules applicable at the time of Guest’s stay should be observed and guests should avoid entering other guest’s units unless they are from the same household or ‘bubble’.
COMMUNAL CAMPFIRE & ACTIVITY AREA
There will not be any communal activities in 2020 to limit the risk of cross infection through shared equipment. We hope to introduce some communal areas for 2021.
The tent liner, furnishings and bedding will be cleaned, disinfected and aired between guests and will remain empty and airing between bookings. We will also disinfect the toilet, kitchen and utensils at this time. The tent will be for the sole use of the occupants and guests are not permitted to invite other guests into the tent unless they are part of the same household/bubble. Social distancing should be observed outside of the tent.
Day visitors are welcome on invitation from guests however we ask that the management are advised in advance. Please ensure that they keep to your pitch and avoid using shared facilities. Please provide us with their name and contact number prior to arrival for Test & Trace procedures. We will keep their details for 21 days from their visit for this purpose.
