We are now closed for the winter and look forward to reopening in Spring 2021. Our booking calendar is now available for 2021 bookings from May half term until the end of September 2021 – please follow the link at the bottom of this page to check availability and book your stay.
Please keep an eye on this site and our Facebook page to see the exciting changes and improvements we plan for next year, which we hope will include:
The option to double up all three tent pitches for group bookings
A companion tent pitch for the bell tent exclusively available for bell tent customers to book
A new washing up and recycling area on the camping field
Rustic seating for the bell tent campfire
Improved shop facilities
Children’s activity area
BBQs for hire
Off grid tent camping on the North Wales borders – a hidden valley of meadow and woodland with three secluded self contained tent camping pitches each with it’s own private composting toilet and handwashing facilities plus campfire, shelter and picnic table.
Fancy travelling light and glamping it up? The fourth pitch is home to our five metre fully furnished nomadic bell tent with it’s own kitchen, campfire, shelter, picnic table and composting toilet.
Light a campfire…go for a walk…explore the area…play games…watch the wildlife…read a book…simply relax.
A quiet and secluded site for families and couples, with a silent-site policy after 10pm, perfect to escape from it all and recharge the batteries whilst letting the children embrace the outdoors.
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take time to stretch your legs around the smallholding.
We are a dog friendly site and welcome up to two dogs on each tent camping pitch at no extra charge.
There is plenty of space to keep the kids occupied – play games on the 2 acre Hayfield, traverse the dips and hillocks in Buzzard’s Meadow and see if you can spot Buzzards or the rare Goshawk cutting through the treetops, or whilst exploring Goat’s Wood you can make dens or go on a bear hunt! Say hello to our goats, pigs, turkeys and chickens who live on the smallholding.
